Your pro bono work will be supported by Debbie Segal, our full-time pro bono attorney. The executive director for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation for over a decade, Debbie leads a committee that works to identify areas of need, and organizes the attorney resources to serve them. Debbie spearheads all the firm's pro bono work, bringing new pro bono activities into the firm, matching you with pro bono work that suits your interests, and providing you the necessary legal skills training.
Summer Associates also become actively involved in pro bono activities—an excellent opportunity to gain real experience in the legal system. And, as with everything else, we encourage your initiative in this area: Debbie's door is open for you to bring in new ideas and opportunities for the firm's pro bono involvement.
